And the winner is.................

The 2012 “Purrfect Days” Wall Calendar Cat Photo Contest has come to a close, and we’ve had a blast looking at all of your fantastic entries. One thing that became very clear as the contest went on....people are just crazy about their cats!  Many photos came accompanied by the story of how kitty became part of the family, and the adoring owners couldn't keep their love for their pets from jumping off the page.  I would personally like to keep the contest going on forever, just for the fun of receiving adorable pictures in my inbox every day, but all good things must come to an end.

We received so many great entries, that we couldn’t narrow it down to just one winner, so we decided to award 2nd and 3rd place prizes as well. So that being said, the winners are…………drum roll please………….

1st Place goes to Cinco de Mayo submitted by Elizabeth

This photo is absolutely stunning!  We love both the beautful cat, and the composition of the photo.  The seasonal element will make it perfect for the month of December in our 2012 calendar. 
All three winners will be receiving a 2011 Purrfect Days Wall Calendar autographed by the artist Drew Strouble, along with a kitty inspired journal for jotting down thoughts and reminders (ie. Remember to brush Cinco de Mayo so that she stays looking her best ;)).

Our first place winner’s photo will be used as Drew’s reference for an original watercolor that will be featured in the 2012 "Purrfect Days" Pine Ridge Art Wall Calendar! The first place winner will also receive the #1/50 signed and numbered Artist's Proof plus a hand signed copy of the 2012 "Purrfect Days" full color calendar when it becomes available. Finally, the winner will also have first right of refusal to purchase Drew’s original watercolor.
